Profile;
Ciaran qualified as an architectural technician from D.I.T. Bolton Street in 1979. He spent some time working in London and he also has experience of working in Saudi Arabia. He became an Associate with Francis Whelan & Associates in 1989 and a founding director of Whelan Corcoran Smith Architects in 1998. He has been a director of WCA Architects since its formation in 2011.
Ciaran has a wide range of experience in both new and refurbishment works, particularly in the area of food retail and commercial projects. He sits on the Fingal County Council Planning and Development Strategic Policy Committee as a representative of Fingal Dublin Chamber of Commerce. He is an accredited Building Energy Rating Assessor and is the director of WCA Architects with responsibility for energy conservation and sustainability.
